We've raised awareness before to our followers of these dangers. As there have been 266 Product Recalls in 6 years, you have to take this seriously. We're pleased that it's reached the mainstream Television which can only help raise awareness of EEESafe as well.
On our website, we highlight the Product Recall Database as a requirement for EEESafe Centres to check Appliances being refurbished. You can therefore purchase safely from one of our centres. Only EEESafe keeps records of old appliance products through its network of Centres, which are slowly gaining interest from groups around the UK who are involved in Appliance Reuse.
EEESafe DATs, (Our Registered Home Repairers) are also asked to report models or inform customers when they visit customers premises to conduct safe repairs.
