According to research from Electrical Safety First, only 10-20% of electrical product recalls are successful. This means that millions of potentially dangerous appliances are still in UK homes. By Registering your Home Appliances with EEESafe, we’ll check for Free to see if your Large Domestic Appliance is subject to a recall. No site visits are required. It’s also frightening that the location of all of the missing 80% recalls are unknown.

We’ll email you independently with where to find instructions on how you can get your Appliance fixed or replaced, dependent on the Manufacturers instructions and your chosen contact method. No attempt to sell you anything will be part of that information. If all is well and you are not at risk of a fire, you won’t hear anything from us. However we will continue to monitor your appliances just in case your products become the subject of a Recall in the future. We’ve had a few new ones this year already and owners have been contacted and made their own minds up on whether to take action or not.

Research shows when a Product is sold by a Retailer, 35% of people won’t complete the registration cards for those appliances. It becomes very difficult to trace where the faulty items are located, but we are here to help reduce the chances of a Fire or Electrical Accident. Calls by safety groups are being made for more traceability of Appliances of the Manufacturers of all Electrical Appliance products on the market. Because of our independence, we’re pleased to help all stakeholders including manufacturers and retailers, in making safety a home priority.
