Here is an example of goods been donated by the Community but then is taken away to another part of the country. We like that that community gets rid of what it believes is Waste, but much of this stuff, a sample of what was collected, will benefit someone else. We see this as a Community Resource which if not being diverted Registered EEESafe Repairers, they will end up being shredded or sold to another Community. May Gurney is the Contractor to the Council in Somerset and May Gurney has other outlets in the country to sell this stuff. We need to keep them local. Please remember to support your local community and if you have any Appliances you wish to retain in your community for spares, or White Goods items to sell or donate, you can register them with EEESafe.
EEESafe seeks to use local prevented Waste of Electricals to go to Registered EEESafe Repair Technicians. Registering with these Technicians will help us deliver Local Community Circular Economies across the UK.
