You can find all the details you require at their own Website Page which is HERE.
The models affected are DCU9330W, DCU9330R, DCU8230, DSC85W, TKF8439A
Other sources report that the the 8kg DSC85W model was responsible for a death last year but Beko are stating this is related to a different issue. It’s reported that the product had been involved in 20 previous blazes, however at that time Beko didn’t recall the product as it was thought that the defect was not related.
All registrations in our Independent Appliance safety Register have been checked and where appropriate owners have been notified. It’s worth reminding consumers that the EEESafe Register will report any level of safety concerns to owners, so that they can make their own minds up whether they would like to take any action.
You could register at our old Appliance Safety Register but we’d advise to wait for our new one is soon to launch which includes some great innovations that bring benefits to your local community.
Furthermore, we will be able to capture Used Product Recalls giving further protection when you sell or donate used Electrical Appliances. You will have you’re own Community Marketplace as well.
Our standard in Appliance Repair and Reuse is safer than the minimum required under UK Legislation. Which do you prefer?
