This is an example of where Large Appliances end up, when you take them to Civic Amenity Sites and Household Waste Recycling Centres. It’s great that jobs are created on these locations, but if we’re going to reduce poverty and help the environment, wouldn’t it make sense if they stayed in the local area and created jobs in your own community.
This image typifies those who are in debt and poverty, but can’t afford to by a new appliance. We researched this and have also been asked by many charities if we could obtain some used appliances. Sadly it’s very difficult because they have left the community and gone to large factories that rely on your old appliances, or gone to landfill.
We say bring the jobs local and hope that you say, how can we help?
You can Register your existing large appliances at our National Appliance Safety Register
We’ll check straight away and let you know if it’s the subject of a Recall, which could result in a Fire or a Serious Accident. We’ll let you know in the future as well, if it becomes “at risk” and tell you how to get it repaired or changed for free.
You can keep us in mind when you eventually get rid of this appliance and DONATE it to us. We’ll attempt to find a local family or get the Genuine Manufacturer Spares to a Local EEESafe Centre.
You can now or in the future purchase your New Appliances using our Weblink. Partner Retailers will still sell to you at their best prices but also give an option to leave the old Appliance for us to find a Registered Competent Repair Person..
